Supernova SN2012cg discovered 17/may/2012 in NGC4424 by LOSS		  
 
NGC4424 is a rather faint galaxy in the constellation of Virgo with aparent dimensions of 3.5' x 1.9' where a new brillant type Ia supernova was discovered last 17/may/2012 by Lick Observatory Supernova Search (LOSS, USA).

NGC es una galaxia más bien poco brillante en la constelación de Virgo con un tamaño aparente de 3,5' x 1,9', donde el pasado 17/mayo/2012 fue descubierta una nueva supernova de tipo Ia por el Observatorio LOSS (Observatorio de Búsqueda de Supernovas Lick, en EEUU).
